44 Year Old Man Digs Out of Despair and Creates His Ideal Life

Years ago, I faced new and challenging situations. As a successful entrepreneur who launched a business as a teenager and ran it for 30 years, I endured a long, unhappy marriage before realizing the need for divorce. This decision meant separating myself and my three young children from their mother. After a five-year legal battle and a generous settlement, I gained sole custody, leaving me emotionally drained and nearly financially ruined. My business suffered, and I found myself almost $2 million in debt, facing foreclosure and bankruptcy. As a single parent, I needed to provide a stable environment for my children, but managing the business required 60 hours a week, making it difficult to balance both responsibilities.

Call to Action

If you find yourself in a similar situation, feeling overwhelmed and unsure of how to move forward, it's crucial to seek support. Whether it's reaching out to a mental health professional, talking to trusted friends or family, or exploring stress management techniques, taking the first step can lead to positive change. Remember, you are not alone in this struggle. Take action today for a healthier, more balanced tomorrow.

I became extremely stressed out and suffered from severe depression and anxiety. Insomnia took over. I was getting about 3 hours sleep a night for more than a year. My body ached, and I never could relax. Functioning, let alone running the business, became incredibly difficult. I realized I needed to make changes but didn’t know how to escape my predicament. I couldn’t quit because my two children depended on me, and the thought of us being homeless was unbearable.

I reached out to Vytal Coaching & Consulting and scheduled my free consultation. From the start, I felt we were a good match and began my online coaching sessions. During that initial call, I felt my perspectives shifting. I started to believe I could set and achieve my goals by working with the right coach. I set goals in various areas of life, including family, business, financial, health, spiritual, and relationships. My coach encouraged me to envision goals bigger than I could imagine on my own. It was incredibly challenging for me to picture a better, let alone a “great” life, due to the depression, anxiety, and long-term sleep deprivation.

After setting my goals, my coach helped me work towards achieving them. It was immensely reassuring to have an understanding and knowledgeable guide through a phase of life I had never experienced and didn’t know how to manage. Each month, I made progress and began to feel better. I know I wouldn’t have taken many of those small steps toward “reinventing” myself without a guide and someone to hold me accountable.

I made significant progress and gradually turned my life around. Each week, I looked forward to my coach’s call. It felt good to receive support and guidance, and even better to see the progress I was making weekly and monthly. After a little over a year of coaching, I had achieved all of my goals. My coach told me she had fulfilled her mission, and I knew she was right. It was hard to believe that I had accomplished goals that, a year earlier, seemed impossible.

Thanks to my life coach, I found the courage to overcome my personal barriers and achieve more than I ever imagined possible. I truly managed to “reinvent” myself and my life. I sold my 32-year-old business and became a real estate investor. Now, my work hours are much more flexible, and my earnings have significantly increased. I expect to retire in a few years. Four weeks ago, I married my “soul mate,” whom I’ve known for over 25 years and reconnected with a few years ago. Life is so much better now for me, my children, and everyone I interact with.

I’m writing this in the hope of inspiring others to transform themselves and their lives into what they desire. My life has improved tremendously, thanks to my coaching. Bill was right when he said, “there is no need to suffer.”
